Ep 2. Ship of Vipers

In the second episode of the second season of Dynasty (2017), titled "Ship of Vipers," the drama at the Carrington estate continues to escalate. After several explosive events in the previous season, including a fire and a shooting, tensions are high between the members of the Carrington family, and this episode only adds fuel to the fire.

The episode opens with Blake Carrington (Grant Show) and his new wife Cristal (Ana Brenda Contreras) aboard a yacht on their honeymoon. However, their romantic getaway is cut short when they receive a distress call from Jeff Colby (Sam Adegoke), who is stranded on a remote island after a business deal gone wrong. Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) is dealing with the fallout from the revelation that she rigged a corporate takeover to oust her father from his own company. Her guilt over her actions is compounded when she learns that her brother Steven (James Mackay) has been arrested for assaulting an officer while protesting a mining operation that will destroy the habitat of an endangered species. As Fallon struggles to come to terms with the damage she has caused, she also faces a new rival in the form of a young journalist who is determined to expose her family's secrets.

Elsewhere, Blake's nemesis Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan) makes a dramatic return to the Carrington estate and wastes no time stirring up trouble. She immediately sets her sights on seducing Blake's son Adam (Sam Underwood), but when her plan backfires, she turns her attention to a new target. She also has an unexpected reunion with her long-lost daughter, and the two women clash over their respective relationships with Blake.

As the episode progresses, alliances are tested and secrets are revealed, leading to several shocking twists that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. From the glamorous yacht scenes to the heated family confrontations, "Ship of Vipers" is a rollercoaster of a ride that showcases the show's trademark mix of high-stakes drama and over-the-top glamour.
