After many attempts, they finally catch the creature and bring it back to the lab for study. They discover that it is a very rare fish species that is only found in that river. They release the fish back into the water and feel proud to have discovered something so special.

Marina comes up with the idea to use the rock formations in the cave to reflect sunlight and bring light into the darkness. They work together to set up the rocks and successfully bring light into the cave. They find that the time difference is no longer present and the cave is now safe to explore.

With both mysteries solved, Fishtronaut, Marina, and Zeek celebrate their successes and feel grateful for the adventure they just had. The episode ends with the three friends continuing to explore the cave and enjoying their time together.
