If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is a movie based on the beloved children's book of the same title and other books about a moose, pig, cat and dog written by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond. The movie adaption was created by Ken Scarborough who worked on movie adaptions of Curious George and Arthur. This animated movie is a friendly adventure story to entertain children, especially those who love the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie book. The fun adventures are centered around the characters of Mouse and a boy named Oliver. They also have run ins with other animals. A pig from If You Give a Pig a Pancake. From the book If You Give a Dog a Donut the dog makes an appearance. And last of all the very large character the moose from the story If You Give a Moose a Muffin shows up. The characters also obviously come across a variety of baked goods during their exciting but altogether rather exhausting series of adventures.
