Ep 13. The Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate

Blair is thrilled when her mother, Eleanor (guest star Margaret Colin), chooses her to be the new face of her clothing line. However, Blair's happiness dwindles after a photo shoot starring her and Nate is leaked to Gossip Girl. Blair is positive that Chuck had something to do with it and decides to get revenge by sabotaging his upcoming hotel opening. Meanwhile, Chuck and Nate's friendship is put to the test when they both end up being interested in Blair and have to navigate their feelings for her. Dan seeks advice from Serena about his crush on his new friend Vanessa, but he winds up making things awkward between them. School is back in session and eagerly awaiting the opening of the newest New York hotspot, The Victrola. Once the venue's manager, Chuck has transformed the former gentleman's club into a velvet-and-candlelit den of iniquity. However, the reopening makes Blair determined to save her mother's business by securing an exclusive contract to design a clothing line for the new hotel. The photo shoot is a success until Serena gets Nate the job of assisting the photographer, causing him and Blair to spend lots of time together, and raising suspicion from Chuck.
