Blair Waldorf is once again struggling with the fallout from being rejected from Yale. She starts to create a plan to get her way into Columbia instead with the help of Georgina Sparks. Meanwhile, Chuck Bass, who is still seeking answers about his father's death, enlists in the help of Nate Archibald to discover more about the mysterious woman contacted by his father before his death. Serena van der Woodsen, on the other hand, takes on a surprising new role as Gossip Girl to help her friend who is being targeted by the website. Dan Humphrey becomes more involved with Olivia Burke (played by Hilary Duff), the famous actress who is also his girlfriend.
As the episode unfolds, each character faces difficult emotional obstacles. Blair struggles with feeling inferior to her friends, especially after a scholarship is named after her.
