In Guerrilla season 1 episode 2, the tension between the police and the black power movement continues to escalate. Marcus and Jas are still on the run from authorities after the shooting at the Black Power Desk, and they seek refuge in a safe house with some of their underground allies.

Meanwhile, Kent Fue, a charming and ambitious detective with a deep respect for his African roots, is recruited by his superiors to infiltrate the black power movement and gather intelligence. Kent's investigation leads him to Freya, a beautiful and enigmatic black activist who challenges his assumptions about race and politics.

As Kent delves deeper into the movement, he begins to see the complexities and contradictions of their goals and tactics. He also discovers that Marcus and Jas are not the violent extremists the police have labeled them to be, but rather passionate and compassionate individuals fighting for a just cause.

The episode also explores the personal lives of the characters, including Jas' strained relationship with her son and Marcus' haunted past as a soldier in Northern Ireland.

Throughout the episode, the tension and mistrust between the police and the black power movement simmer just beneath the surface, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as they wonder which side will come out on top.
