One night, a nurse is doing rounds when she hears a strange growling coming from the floor below her. Upon investigation, she finds herself in a pitch-black stairwell, and soon realizes that something is not right. Meanwhile, one security guard on the night shift begins to experience strange occurrences as well, including a chilling hair-raising moment where he comes face-to-face with an entity that he can only describe as pure evil.
