Ep 4. New Car Smell

Carrie Mathison continues her pursuit of Abu Nazir in "New Car Smell," the fourth episode of Homeland's second season. As her team works to identify the location of the terrorist mastermind, Carrie goes undercover to infiltrate a Beirut-based group that is linked to Abu Nazir. However, her fear and paranoia begin to interfere with her mission, leading her to take risks that put herself and her team in danger.

Meanwhile, Saul Berenson works to uncover who the mole is within the CIA. He meets secretly with Estes, the CIA director, to discuss his suspicions, but their meeting is interrupted by a surprise visit from Vice President Walden. As the tension between Estes and Walden grows, it becomes clear that there is a power struggle within the government that may complicate Saul's efforts to find the mole.

Brody, still struggling with his role in the political process, is approached by Roya Hammad, someone he met in Iraq, who asks him to perform a favor for her. As Brody tries to balance his obligations to her with his obligations to Walden and Estes, he begins to question his loyalties and his own sense of morality.
