Hour of Power is a Christian television show airing weekly in the United States and around the world. As the name suggests, the televised church service is typically an hour in length, but occasionally, stations will air an edited half-hour version. Hour of Power features a choir, a large congregation, and numerous testimonials from individuals reporting on how the Lord has worked in their lives. The program also features original messages that are meant to inspire the show's viewers to develop their personal relationships with Christ, establish their place in the Christian community, and spread the Gospel through evangelism. Hour of Power was originally founded and hosted by Robert H. Schuller in 1970. Schuller founded the Reformed Church in America in 1955. His son, Robert A. Schuller, hosted Hour of Power from 1976 to 2008. Now, Robert H.'s grandson, Robert V. "Bobby" Schuller hosts the program. Since 2013, Hour of Power has been broadcast from Shepherd's Grove, California, after previously being broadcast from the famous Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Orange County, California.
