Impossible City is a documentary that was produced by CBS News that aired on the Discovery Channel. The documentary premiered on the Discovery Channel in October of 2009. Impossible City is about the construction boom and rapid growth of the city of Dubai which is located in the United Arab Emirates. The city has grown tremendously in the past few years. Its rapid growth continues thanks to skilled engineers and the labor of construction workers.

Impossible city shows the construction of 0-14, a brand new skyscraper that is being built in the business district of Dubai. The tools, methods and technology that is used to build skyscrapers in a barren, desert landscape of the UAE is explored and analyzed.
