Patty Bladell is still attempting to navigate her new life as a thin, conventionally attractive woman in Insatiable Season 1's Episode 2. Patty, who used to be overweight and bullied, is now able to blend in with the popular crowd, but she's still dealing with the same insecurities that plagued her before - only now, she's also struggling with a newfound sense of entitlement.

Patty's newfound confidence has led her to become more bold in her interactions with others, which can be somewhat unsettling to those around her. As the episode progresses, tensions continue to rise. Nonnie and Patty's friendship is on the verge of collapse, as Patty becomes more self-absorbed and Nonnie feels increasingly left out. Patty's relationship with Bob also becomes strained when she realizes that he's not interested in her romantically. However, the two of them manage to come together for the pageant, and their talents shine through.
