Langley Research Centre is located in Virginia & directly bordering Langley Air Force Base. Langley was primarily setup to focus on aeronautical research, also acts as a testing site, as with the Apollo Lunar Module. Home to over 40 wind tunnels used to study aircraft & spacecraft, Langley's teams study & test landing systems, nanotechnologies, micro particles, innovative heat shields & more.
