Laura McKenzie’s Traveler is back and it's taking you on a journey of a lifetime through one of the most beautiful and historic countries in the world - China. In episode 13 of season 4, aptly titled "Epic China," Laura takes her viewers on an epic adventure through China, visiting some of the most breathtaking locations and immersing herself in rich cultures and traditions.

The episode begins with Laura arriving in China and exploring the vibrant city of Beijing. She starts her journey by visiting the Great Wall of China, one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. She spends time at the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, a conservation center that is home to over 140 pandas. Laura learns about the challenges faced by conservationists when it comes to preserving the panda population and what steps are being taken to ensure their survival.

Laura then takes a trip to the stunning Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its towering sandstone pillars, mist-shrouded valleys and scenic waterfalls. Laura spends time hiking through the park, admiring the natural beauty of the area and learning about the unique ecosystems that exist within the park.

The next leg of Laura's journey takes her to the city of Lijiang, located in the Yunnan province. Lijiang is home to the ancient ethnic minority group known as the Naxi people. Laura visits a Naxi village and learns about their rich history and culture, including their unique language, music and witchcraft.

The final leg of Laura's journey takes her to the city of Huangshan, known for its famous Yellow Mountains. She takes a cable car up to the peak of the mountain and explores the stunning landscapes, including the famous cloud sea, a natural phenomenon where the mountain peaks are shrouded in a blanket of clouds.

Throughout the episode, Laura is accompanied by local guides who help her navigate through the unfamiliar terrain and offer insights into the rich history and culture of each location.
