Once inside, Leo's team quickly discovers that time is running out, and they need to find Charlotte soon. The warehouse is a maze of rooms and corridors, and the team splits up to cover as much ground as possible. Leo and his partner push on, looking for Charlotte room by room.

In an intense sequence of events, Leo's partner comes face to face with one of the kidnappers, and a tense standoff ensues. Meanwhile, Leo hears Charlotte's voice from a nearby room. He rushes to find her, but he too is confronted by one of the kidnappers. A struggle ensues, and in the end, the kidnapper is subdued, and Charlotte is rescued.

Leo's team rushes Charlotte back to her family, and the kidnappers are apprehended and brought to justice. The episode ends on a positive note with Charlotte being reunited with her family. Throughout the episode, viewers are given a glimpse into the world of a special unit detective and the pressures and challenges that they face.
