In Let's Stay Together season 2 episode 9, titled "Marriage Without Borders," viewers will be treated to more ups and downs between the show's core romantic couples.
Tensions continue to rise between Kita and Jamal, as they still can't quite get on the same page when it comes to their relationship. Jamal is fixated on Kita saying "I love you," while Kita is hesitant to rush into anything too serious. To make matters worse, Kita's ex-boyfriend, Carter, will return to the picture, throwing a wrench into her relationship with Jamal.
Elsewhere, Tasha is still struggling with her own commitment issues, but she makes a big move in this episode: agreeing to marry her long-time boyfriend, Charles. The catch? Charles is about to be deported back to his home country, so the wedding needs to happen ASAP in order for Tasha to be able to sponsor him to come back to the United States.
The rush to plan a wedding while dealing with the legal complications of Charles' immigration status leads to a host of hilarious mishaps and misunderstandings. Tasha's mom, Simone, also causes drama when she tries to take over the wedding planning process and clashes with Charles' family, who travel from overseas to be at the event.
Meanwhile, Stacy and Charles (no relation to Tasha's Charles) have to navigate some tricky waters of their own. After Stacy delivers a speech at a law conference that catches the attention of a big-time lawyer in New York, she's faced with a tough decision: stay in Atlanta with Charles or pursue a career opportunity that could take her all the way to the Big Apple.
As always, Let's Stay Together delivers plenty of laughs, heartwarming moments, and relatable relationship drama in this episode. Fans of the show won't want to miss the latest developments in the lives of their favorite couples.
