Ep 7. New Year's Eve-A-Rooney

It's New Year's Eve in the Rooney household, and Liv and Maddie have big plans to celebrate with their friends. However, their plans are quickly derailed when their mom, Karen, gets stuck at the airport due to a snowstorm. With their mom's flight delayed until the next day, the girls are forced to come up with a new plan to ring in the New Year.

Liv decides to throw a party at their house, while Maddie uses her newfound baking skills to whip up some delicious treats for the guests. However, Liv quickly learns that throwing a party is harder than it seems, as she struggles to get people to RSVP and decorate the house on her own. To make matters worse, her friend Holden shows up with a new girlfriend, leaving Liv feeling jealous and alone.

Meanwhile, Joey and Parker team up to create their own New Year's Eve tradition - painting a mural to ring in the new year. However, their plans are also derailed when they accidentally lock themselves in the art room, forcing them to find new ways to pass the time until someone comes to rescue them.

As the night wears on, tensions rise between Liv and Maddie, as Liv becomes jealous of Maddie's baking skills and attention from Holden. However, the two eventually make up when they realize that they are each other's biggest supporters and that jealousy is not worth jeopardizing their relationship.
