Love, Victor is a coming-of-age series that originally aired on Hulu in June 2020. Set in the same universe as the popular 2018 movie Love, Simon, the show follows Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino), a new student at Creekwood High School who is struggling to come to terms with his sexual identity.

Throughout the first season, we follow Victor as he begins to explore his feelings for his male classmate, Benji (George Sear), while also trying to keep his attraction hidden from his deeply religious parents, Isabel (Ana Ortiz) and Armando (James Martinez), and his younger siblings, Pilar (Isabella Ferreira) and Adrian (Mateo Fernandez).

As Victor begins to navigate his new school and social circles, he soon finds himself caught between two worlds: the popular and wealthy group of students, including his new friend Mia (Rachel Hilson) and her ex-boyfriend, Andrew (Mason Gooding), and the more alternative and quirky group including his neighbor and confidante, Felix (Anthony Turpel), and the openly gay Lake (Bebe Wood).

The second season, which premiered in June 2021, picks up where the first season left off, as Victor and Benji try to make their relationship work despite the challenges they face. As they navigate their way through their first summer together, they must also deal with the fallout from Victor's decision to come out to his family and the wider community.

Throughout both seasons, Love, Victor tackles a wide range of issues facing LGBTQ+ youth, including self-discovery, coming out, homophobia, and acceptance, all while balancing the show's dramatic and comedic elements.

Michael Cimino's performance as Victor stands out, as he brings a vulnerability and sincerity to the character that makes him impossible not to root for. Similarly, Ana Ortiz and James Martinez shine as Victor's parents, delivering heartfelt performances that add depth and complexity to the show's portrayal of a Latino family grappling with issues of sexuality and culture.

The supporting cast, including Rachel Hilson, George Sear, Anthony Turpel, Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, and Isabella Ferreira, all bring unique perspectives and personalities to the show's diverse and multi-layered group of characters.

Whether you're a fan of the Love, Simon movie or simply looking for a heartwarming and insightful coming-of-age series, Love, Victor is a must-watch that explores the complexities of identity and growing up with humor, compassion, and authenticity.

Love, Victor is a series that is currently running and has 3 seasons (28 episodes). The series first aired on June 17, 2020.
