In Northern Corona on January the 13th, 2013, Lucas Oil Modified Series’ developers was presented by LoanMart who was evidently getting more tired of putting up auto races not knowing they might have a brighter future as event organizers and planners. The 2013 edition was a US National NHRA drag race. The track was very clean with a large audience present ready to be part of a spectacular event in history. There is more money in the winners’ race purses, much more in the expanded ‘tow money’ program and even more cash in the upper-Hoosier Tire West Points Fund. In this case it doubled the champion’s payoff to about $5,000. The event is worth watching.
