Dunya uses her magic to heal the group, and they continue on their quest to gather the ingredients. As they travel, Dunya opens up more about her past and how she was forced to leave her son behind to pursue her ideals. Titus is understandably hurt and angry, but he tries to understand his mother's motivations and reconcile with her.

As they finally gather all the necessary ingredients, they return to Magnostadt to confront Mogamett. Dunya successfully casts her spell, but it is revealed that Mogamett is not as evil as she thought.
