Muromi-san is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series by Keiji Najima. The show revolves around a high school boy named Takurou Mukoujima, who encounters and befriends a mermaid named Muromi. The show follows their comedic adventures as they interact with various marine creatures.
In episode 3, titled E 3, Takurou and Muromi come across a group of jellyfish. Muromi starts playing with them, and Takurou joins in, but they soon realize that the jellyfish are electric. Muromi receives a shock and is knocked unconscious, while Takurou manages to escape unharmed.
Worried about Muromi, Takurou takes her to the aquarium where they meet a pair of fish, Otohime and Sumida. Otohime offers to help Muromi recover, and Sumida tells Takurou about the dangers of jellyfish. He reveals that the jellyfish they encountered were probably Nomura's jellyfish, a species that can grow up to 2 meters in diameter and weigh up to 200 kg.
As Muromi sleeps, Takurou and Otohime talk about life as a fish. Otohime admits that she sometimes wishes she could experience the freedom of being a human, and Takurou tells her that he sometimes feels the same. However, both agree that they are happy with who they are.
When Muromi wakes up, she is back to her usual energetic self. They head to the beach, where they encounter a tiny octopus. Muromi is delighted and starts playing with it, but Takurou is wary, knowing that octopuses can be dangerous. However, the octopus proves to be harmless and even offers to help them in their search for treasure.
The trio sets off in search of the treasure, and the octopus leads them to a sunken ship. They enter the ship and discover a chest, but it's guarded by a giant crab. Muromi tries to fight the crab, but it proves too strong. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, the octopus comes to the rescue and distracts the crab, allowing Muromi to grab the treasure.
As they make their way back to the surface, Takurou reflects on the fact that he never would have been able to experience such adventures if he hadn't met Muromi. Muromi agrees, and the trio heads back to the aquarium to say goodbye to their fish friends.
Overall, episode 3 of Muromi-san is a light-hearted and entertaining adventure that showcases the show's quirky humor and lovable characters.
