Now Apocalypse season 1 episode 2, "Where Is My Mind?" continues the journey of four close friends in Los Angeles as they navigate their way through life, love and bizarre supernatural occurrences.

The episode opens with Ulysses (Avan Jogia) waking up in a strange room with a beautiful woman dressed in latex, who might have had a little too much to drink the night before. As he tries to piece together the events of the previous night, Ulysses begins to wonder if he has been experimenting with some kind of new drug or if he might be undergoing some kind of supernatural experience. Meanwhile, his roommate Carly (Kelli Berglund) is struggling with her own strange experiences – she keeps having visions of reptilian aliens and shadowy figures.

At the same time, Ford (Beau Mirchoff) is struggling with his new girlfriend, Severine (Roxane Mesquida), who he discovers is a dominatrix. Desperate to impress her, he decides to go along with her sexual fantasies, but quickly finds himself in over his head. As Ford's relationship with Severine becomes increasingly complicated, he begins to realize that he might not be cut out for the kinky lifestyle he has embraced.

As the episode progresses, all four friends begin to feel the effects of the strange and unusual energy that surrounds them. They find themselves drawn into a dangerous and otherworldly game, encountering supernatural beings and trying to figure out their place in the cosmic order.

Throughout the episode, the themes of sexuality and identity are explored in a frank and honest way. The characters are shown exploring their own desires and boundaries, discovering new aspects of themselves and each other. The show tackles issues of gender, sexual orientation, and expression head-on, creating a world where anything is possible and exploring the boundaries of what it means to be human.

Overall, "Where Is My Mind?" is an intriguing and engaging second episode that builds on the promise of the series' first outing. The characters are complex and interesting, the writing is sharp and witty, and the show's unique blend of humor, drama, and supernatural elements keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Whether you're a fan of sci-fi, comedy, or drama, Now Apocalypse is definitely a show worth checking out.
