Linda's boring life is dominated by her controlling mother in this drama. So she prefers to escape by fantasizing about the characters in her favorite television soap opera, Savage Hills. She becomes obsessed with the character on the show named Michael, portrayed by an actor named Glenn Stevens. Linda tells her mother she is engaged and makes a trip to Hollywood, giving herself a fashion makeover in the process. She succeeds in her mission to meet her heartthrob Michael, which doesn't bode well for the actor who portrays him.
