In Odd Squad season 2 episode 26, titled "Negative Town and License to Science," the Odd Squad agents find themselves dealing with two separate problems that require their unique problem-solving skills.
In the first half of the episode, the agents are called to investigate Negative Town, a seemingly normal town where everything is the opposite of what it should be. For example, people say "goodbye" when they meet and "hello" when they leave, and a fire hydrant is used to start fires rather than put them out.
As the agents navigate through Negative Town, they must use their understanding of opposites and their quick thinking to solve problems and restore the town to its normal state. They also encounter a mysterious villain who seems to be behind the strange occurrences in Negative Town, and they must work to apprehend the villain and prevent further chaos.
In the second half of the episode, the focus shifts to science as the agents work to earn their License to Science. In order to do so, they must complete a series of challenges that test their knowledge of science and their ability to apply that knowledge to solve problems.
Challenges include identifying the different properties of matter, figuring out how to measure the temperature of a giant ice cube, and determining the best way to move a large object. Along the way, the agents learn new scientific concepts and skills, and they must work together to complete the challenges and earn their license.
As with all episodes of Odd Squad, "Negative Town and License to Science" includes plenty of humor, action, and suspense. The Odd Squad agents are always ready to take on any problem, no matter how strange or difficult, and viewers are sure to be entertained by their adventures.
