The TV show Cheers is a light comedy that features a bar in Boston for which the show is named. The plot focuses on the owner, Sam Malone, and his co-workers, and of course the reoccurring customers in the bar. The story revolves around their relationships with each other, and even deals with societal themes of class, sexuality, feminism, addiction, and even, romantic relationships. Many relationships and humorous issues are exposed and played out over a beer or a glass of wine. Cheers explores the foibles of love, social difficulty, and the friendship that people form in a local bar.
