Pinocchio is a TV film that was based on the children's book, The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, and it was made in Italy. The movie originally aired in two parts in 2008. The plot concerns a marionette who yearns to become a real boy. A fairy tells him that he has to earn this transformation through good behavior - which does not come easily to the naughty and dishonest puppet. He eventually learns his lesson through a series of misadventures.
