Fated To Love You is a romantic comedy series that aired on MBC in 2014. The show is a Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese drama with the same name. The Korean version stars Jang Hyuk as Lee Gun, a wealthy and successful businessman who is known for his arrogance and temper. Choi Jin Hyuk plays Daniel, a kind-hearted artist who meets Lee Gun's fiancé, Kim Mi-Young (Jang Nara) by chance.

The show explores how one mistake can lead to unforeseen consequences and ultimately, true love. In the first episode, Lee Gun attends an art exhibition where he meets Kim Mi-Young, a shy and quiet woman who is the complete opposite of his outgoing personality. They end up sleeping together after a series of accidental events, but it turns out that Kim Mi-Young is not Lee Gun's fiancé as he had believed. Instead, she is an ordinary office worker who had won a company raffle that offered her a dream vacation with Lee Gun, who was meant to be her soulmate.

As the show progresses, Kim Mi-Young discovers that she is pregnant with Lee Gun's child. Lee Gun, who initially did not want anything to do with Kim Mi-Young or the baby, starts to develop feelings for her after they are forced to spend more time together due to unforeseen circumstances. Daniel, who had fallen in love with Kim Mi-Young before he found out that she was pregnant, also tries to win her heart throughout the series.

The show's main theme revolves around the idea of destiny and how everything happens for a reason. Despite their different backgrounds and personalities, Kim Mi-Young and Lee Gun are fated to be together. Throughout the series, they face numerous obstacles, including disapproving family members, jealous ex-girlfriends, and business rivals, but they always manage to overcome them with the help of their friends and loved ones.

One of the most endearing aspects of Fated To Love You is the character development of Lee Gun. Initially portrayed as an arrogant and selfish man, he gradually transforms into a compassionate and loving partner. His relationship with Kim Mi-Young allows him to see things from a different perspective, and he learns to be more empathetic towards others. Jang Hyuk's portrayal of Lee Gun is particularly noteworthy, as he manages to capture the character's emotional depth and vulnerability.

In addition to the main love triangle between Lee Gun, Kim Mi-Young, and Daniel, the show also features a diverse cast of supporting characters. President Park (Jung Eun Pyo), Lee Gun's best friend and business partner, offers comedic relief as the bumbling sidekick who is always there to lend a helping hand. Lawyer Min (Kim Young Hyun), Lee Gun's lawyer and confidant, also plays an important role in the show's plot as he helps Lee Gun navigate the legal and financial issues that arise throughout the series.

Overall, Fated To Love You is a heartwarming and entertaining series that will have viewers rooting for the main characters from the very beginning. The show's blend of romance, comedy, and drama make for a compelling and engaging story that will keep viewers hooked until the very end. With its charming cast of characters and touching storyline, Fated To Love You is a must-watch for fans of Korean dramas.
