Pokemon the Series: Ruby & Sapphire Season 901 Episode 9 Reversing the Charges

On their way to the Battle Pike, a mountaintop thunderstorm draws our heroes' attention. They discover an Elekid hurling attacks toward any Pokemon in its path! Pikachu attempts to stop Elekid's rampage, but it's too powerful. In the heat of battle, Elekid runs off with May's Egg, and our heroes go after it! The Team Rocket trio have their sights set on capturing Elekid, but when Elekid attacks, Mime Jr. is sent flying! During their search, our heroes find Mime Jr., James finds May's Egg, and Brock theorizes that Elekid may be suffering from an electrical overcharge the way Pikachu once did. Pikachu absorbs a lightning strike to charge itself up, and this time, it's a much more evenly matched battle. When Team Rocket attacks, Ash's Phanpy evolves into Donphan to blast them off--and with Elekid's excess electricity gone, the mountain is a much more peaceful place!
