Pokemon the Series Season 2 Episode 2 A Scare in the Air

Ash and his friends have arrived in the town of Bloomingvale where they're about to take part in the annual Pokemon hot air balloon race. The group is excited to participate, and Ash is eager to show off his skills as a pilot. However, when they arrive at the race, they find out that only one balloon has been entered, which means that they will be competing against the seasoned pilots of Team Rocket.

As the race begins, Ash and his friends take off, followed closely by Team Rocket. But things quickly take a spooky turn when they fly into a dense fog that seems to have a life of its own. The fog suddenly takes the form of a giant Haunter, which starts to attack the hot air balloons.

As the Haunter wreaks havoc, our heroes realize that they must work together to get out of this dangerous situation. Ash and Pikachu try to fend off the Haunter with their electric attacks, while Misty and Togepi use their water-based attacks to quell the flames caused by the Haunter's ghostly fire.

Meanwhile, Brock uses his knowledge of Pokemon to try and communicate with the Haunter. He discovers that the ghostly Pokemon is upset because it was once a hot air balloon pilot, and wants to prove that it's still the best in the business. Brock comes up with a plan to help the Haunter, and our heroes work together to build a new hot air balloon that will allow the Haunter to compete in the race.

As the new hot air balloon takes off, the other pilots are amazed to see the giant Haunter flying alongside them. The competition heats up as the Haunter shows off its skills, but in the end, it's Ash and his friends who cross the finish line first.

With the race over, the Haunter seems content to have proven itself as a skilled pilot once again. And our heroes continue on their journey, knowing that they have made new friends along the way, even if they are ghosts.
