Ep 9. Shell Shock!

In Pokemon the Series season 2 episode 9, titled "Shell Shock!", Ash and his friends find themselves at the beach where Misty hopes to relax and catch some sun. However, their plans are quickly disrupted by a group of rowdy Shellder who are causing trouble on the beach.
As they investigate the situation, they meet a local pokemon expert named Melvin who has been studying the Shellder. Melvin informs them that the Shellder are upset because a group of humans have been polluting their home on a nearby island, causing the water to become toxic and uninhabitable for the Shellder.
Determined to help, Ash and his friends set out to clean up the island and restore the Shellder's home. They face several obstacles along the way, including a fierce battle with a group of Tentacool and Tentacruel who are also affected by the pollution.
Despite the challenges, Ash and his friends ultimately succeed in their mission to clean up the island and restore the Shellder's home. As a thank you, the Shellder allow Misty to borrow one of their shells as a special gift.
In the end, the episode serves as a reminder of the importance of taking care of the environment and how humanity's actions can have a drastic impact on the world around us, especially on the lives of pokemon.
