Ep 45. Sky High Gym Battle!

Ash and his friends just arrived at the Sky High Gym for his seventh Gym battle challenge, against Jump, the Gym leader. The Sky High Gym is an unusual place. It is located at the top of a tall mountain. In order to reach this Gym, trainers must first climb up a steep and dangerous path.

Once they reach the top, they are greeted by Jump, a friendly Gym leader, who is also known as a skilled sky trainer. Jump is known for his impressive aerial skills and Pokémon that can fly. He is a specialist in flying-type Pokémon and Sky Battles.

Sky Battles are an intense form of Pokémon battles where Pokémon battle in the sky, above the clouds. The gym leader, Jump, explains that the Sky Battles are different from standard battles as only Pokémon that can fly are allowed to participate. This adds a new level of difficulty to the battles, as ground-based moves and Pokémon are not allowed.

Jump brings out his signature Pokémon, a Pidgeot, for a Sky Battle against Ash's Pikachu. Pikachu is not a flying type Pokémon, but he is up for the challenge. The battle is intense, and both Pidgeot and Pikachu are quick to dive and dodge each other's attacks. Pikachu seems to be holding his own until Pidgeot pulls out a combination move, using Gust and Quick Attack to take Pikachu by surprise and knock him out. Ash is disappointed, but he remains determined to win the Gym Badge.

Battles continue throughout the episode, with both trainers and their Pokémon displaying their skills and determination. Ash's Glalie, Swellow, Torkoal, and Donphan all participate, with each battle getting progressively more difficult. The battle takes an unexpected turn when Jump's Pidgeot suddenly evolves into a Mega Pidgeot, becoming even more powerful. But Ash is not deterred, and he and Charizard manage to hold their own against the formidable Mega Pidgeot. In the end, Ash and Charizard emerge victorious, winning the Sky High Gym Badge.

As the episode ends, Ash and his friends celebrate his latest victory and head off on their next adventure. The Sky High Gym Battle was a tough challenge, but Ash proved himself to be a skilled trainer and worthy opponent.
