Pokemon the Series Season 9 Episode 41 Overjoyed!
- January 20, 2007
Ash and his friends make a stop at the Terracotta Town Pokémon Contest, where May enters with her newly evolved Munchlax. However, their focus is quickly shifted when they come across a group of children who are extremely upset because their favorite Pokémon, Happiny, has been stolen by a group of greedy Trainers. Ash and his friends vow to help the children and set out to find Happiny.
As they search for clues, they stumble upon a Trainer named Forsythia who specializes in breeding Pokémon. Forsythia reveals that Happiny was stolen from her as well, and she has been trying to track down the culprits ever since. Ash and his friends join forces with Forsythia and together they search the town, questioning anyone who may have seen the thieves.
Along the way, May and her newly evolved Munchlax participate in the Pokémon Contest, where they face some tough competition. Despite the odds, May and Munchlax put on a great performance and impress the judges, earning them a spot in the final round.
Meanwhile, Ash and his friends receive a tip that the thieves may be hiding out in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. They arrive at the warehouse and sneak in, only to find that it's a trap. The thieves have set up a series of pitfalls and obstacles to prevent anyone from getting to them.
Ash and his friends make their way through the traps, battling Team Rocket along the way. They eventually reach the room where Happiny is being held captive, only to find that the thieves are none other than Jessie, James, and Meowth. However, they aren't the only ones after Happiny – a rival group of Trainers bursts in and a battle ensues.
In the chaos, Happiny is accidentally knocked out of the window and falls to the ground below. Ash and his friends rush to her aid, but it seems that all is lost. However, Happiny is surprisingly resilient and bounces back from the fall, making a full recovery.
As the sun sets on Terracotta Town, May competes in the final round of the Pokémon Contest. She gives it her all and puts on an amazing performance, but in the end, she falls just short of victory. Despite this, May is overjoyed with her progress and is eager to continue her journey with her friends.
The episode ends with Ash and his friends bidding farewell to Forsythia and the children, who are ecstatic to be reunited with Happiny. As they continue on their journey, Ash and his friends look forward to the new adventures and challenges that await them.
