Ramayan is an Indian television series that depicts the story of Lord Rama and his journey from being a prince to becoming the King of Ayodhya. The show is based on the epic Hindu scripture, Ramayana, and has been created by Ramanand Sagar.

In episode 25 of season 1, we see Rama and his brother Lakshmana being tested by the demoness Tadaka, who has been disturbing the peace of the forest. Sita and Rama had met the sage Valmiki earlier, who had foretold that these two brothers would come to the forest to help him kill the demoness.

As Tadaka attacks the brothers, Rama realizes that he cannot kill her with his arrows as she is protected by a magical cloak. However, with Lakshmana's help, Rama is able to use his divine powers to break the cloak, and he kills Tadaka with his arrows. The demoness, before dying, thanks Rama for freeing her from her curse and returning her to her original form.

The trio then meets the sage Agastya, who shows them the way to Panchvati, where they will live in exile for fourteen years. Panchvati turns out to be a beautiful forest with a river flowing nearby. Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita make a small hut and start living there.

As they are living peacefully, Ravana, the King of Lanka, comes to know about Sita's beauty and sets his eyes on her. He sends his sister Surpanakha to lure Rama and Lakshmana into a trap, but the plan fails, and Surpanakha ends up getting her nose and ears cut off. In anger, she goes to her brother and tells him about Sita's beauty.

Ravana then sends his loyal chief minister Marich to distract Rama and Lakshmana. Marich takes on the form of a golden deer and lures Sita away from the hut. As Rama and Lakshmana go in search of the deer, Marich transforms back into his original form and attacks Rama. However, Rama is able to use his divine powers to counter the attack, and Marich dies.

Meanwhile, Ravana, in the guise of a mendicant, enters the hut and kidnaps Sita. When Rama and Lakshmana return, they find Sita missing and the hut destroyed. They realize that Sita has been taken away by Ravana and vow to rescue her.

With this, episode 25 of season 1 of Ramayan ends, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats, eager to see what happens next.
