Sage Bhardwaj advises them to spent their entire exile period on the Chitrakoot mountain but to reach there they would have to cross the river Yamuna.

Kaushalya was very happy to meet Ram and very excited for the ceremony but her happiness was momentary as Ram informs her about the new decisions made by King Dasharath.

Ram happily accepted to fulfill both her wishes and he also confirmed that he would leave for exile immediately. Sage Vashishta visits King Dasharath to know what must have happened for not being able to join the ceremony.
