Ep 10. Cheyenne's Rival

Reba season 6 episode 10, titled "Cheyenne's Rival," sees Reba's daughter Cheyenne facing off against her academic rival, Dusty, in a cooking competition. Cheyenne, who has always struggled academically, is determined to prove herself to her professor by winning the competition and finally earning the A grade she's been striving for. Meanwhile, Reba and Barbra Jean compete to see who can make the better Thanksgiving dinner, with Van acting as the judge.

As the episode begins, Cheyenne is feeling the pressure of the upcoming cooking competition. She confides in her family that she is terrified of failing once again and disappointing her professor. Reba, Van, and Brock try to reassure her that they believe in her, but Cheyenne remains doubtful.

Meanwhile, Barbra Jean announces that she will be making Thanksgiving dinner and challenges Reba to a competition to see who can make the better meal. Van is thrilled at the prospect of tasting both dishes and acting as the impartial judge. However, tension quickly mounts between the two women as they begin gathering ingredients and trading barbs.

As the Thanksgiving cooking competition heats up, Cheyenne and Dusty get to work in the kitchen. Cheyenne is nervous and feels out of her depth, while Dusty appears to be a natural cook. Despite this, Cheyenne remains determined to push through her fears and do her best.

Back at the house, Reba and Barbra Jean continue their culinary clash, with both women trying to outdo each other with increasingly elaborate dishes. Van finds himself torn between his wife and his mother-in-law, but tries to remain impartial as he samples each dish.

As the cooking competitions come to a head, Cheyenne and Dusty present their finished dishes to the judges. Cheyenne is nervous, but proud of her efforts. However, she is shocked when Dusty's dish is announced as the winner. Cheyenne begins to feel like a failure once again, but Reba steps in to remind her daughter that she is capable of accomplishing anything she sets her mind to.

In the end, the family sits down to an extravagant Thanksgiving dinner, with Reba and Barbra Jean's dishes both impressing Van. Cheyenne is still reeling from her defeat, but slowly begins to realize that winning isn't everything. She is proud of herself for facing her fears and putting herself out there, and the family sits down to an enjoyable meal together, grateful for each other's company.
