Reprisal is a gripping action-packed thriller series created by Josh Corbin. The show revolves around the life of a femme fatale who is seeking revenge against her foes. She appears to be on the run from somebody or something. We’re not told much, but her cryptic words give an eerie vibe that foreshadows what’s to come.

As the episode progresses, we shift to a different scene where we see a group of people, led by a man named Burt, raid a warehouse. The group is determined to find something that they believe is rightfully theirs. They break into the warehouse, and things go south when they encounter a group of masked individuals. A furious gunfight breaks out, giving viewers an adrenaline rush. The action sequences are gritty, and the scene feels like something out of a Hollywood action film.

Eventually, the masked individuals overpower Burt’s group, and the latter flees. We learn that the masked individuals are called the Banished Brawlers and currently run the show in the underworld. We later get to see their leader, Johnson, who appears to have a personal vendetta against Doris.

In the latter part of the episode, Doris and her crew plan a heist in a bid to steal a valuable antique. The plan involves posing as a group of tourists and gaining access to a mansion where the antique is stored. Things go awry when one of the members of her team gets caught. Nevertheless, Doris remains undeterred and decides to take matters into her own hands. She ventures into the mansion to try and locate the antique, but a surprise adversary appears.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers guessing what might happen next. Overall, the season premiere of Reprisal introduces us to its compelling storyline, interesting characters, and thrilling action sequences. It’s an episode that sets the tone for what promises to be an entertaining series.
