Ep 22. Gear Up Garage Band / First Aid Fun

Rev & Roll season 1 episode 22, titled "Gear Up Garage Band / First Aid Fun", sees the gang at the Gear Up Garage having a blast as they form their own garage band, but they learn the importance of being prepared for emergencies when accidents happen.

In the first half of the episode, "Gear Up Garage Band", Avery, Rev, Rumble, and their friends decide to start a band all about cars! With Avery on the keyboard, Rev on the bass, and Rumble on the drums, they just need one more member to complete the band. They recruit Bo, who's not sure if he can play an instrument, but he discovers he has a talent for singing. They practice their original song, "Cruisin'", and plan a big performance at the Annual Rocky Ridge Talent Show.

But as they are practicing, they accidentally smash into a shelf of tools and knock a bunch of things over. They realize that they need to make sure their garage is safe and organized before it causes any problems for the band, especially with their big show coming up. They all work together to clean up the garage, and Avery reminds them that being responsible and safe is just as important as having fun.

In the second half of the episode, "First Aid Fun", Rev and the gang learn some important safety lessons when they decide to put on a first aid clinic for the town. Avery and Alley suggest that they teach the town about first aid because they want to make sure everyone is prepared in case of emergencies, and they think it will be a fun way to help out.

They start by learning about the different safety equipment they might need, like gloves and gauze pads, and they learn how to assemble and use a first aid kit. Then, they practice some basic first aid techniques, like how to properly apply a bandage and how to do CPR.

While they are practicing, they start to realize just how important first aid is. Bo accidentally cuts his hand, but they are able to quickly clean the wound and put a bandage on it. Rumble pretends to have hurt his leg, but when they bandage it up and make him a splint, he starts to feel better. The gang even gets an emergency call from the mayor, who has been stung by a bee! They rush to her rescue and quickly administer an epi-pen and some ice to reduce the swelling.

After the clinic is over, everyone agrees that it was a lot of fun, but they also know that knowing what to do in an emergency can truly save a life. They all feel proud to have helped their town, and they know they will be there if anyone ever needs them.
