Good weather makes good hay and Paddy reckons that the next five days will give them the window they require to finish the job. To pay for the hire of the haymaking kit, Hugh clears his polytunnel of his peas and beans to sell them at the Bridport Farmers' Market. As ever, he adds value by converting his raw materials into fast food. His chilled soups are perfect for a hot day and sell like hot cakes. With the mowing completed, Hugh invites local felt-making experts Christine Endicott and Vicky Fry to River Cottage to turn his sheep's fleeces into a fashionable garment. After dyeing the wool there's much carding, scrubbing and rolling before the felt is finally ready for use.
