Ep 2. Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks

In Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks, the second episode of the second season of Riverdale, the town is still reeling from the attack on Fred Andrews (Luke Perry), Archie's (KJ Apa) father, at the end of the previous season. As Archie struggles with his guilt over not being able to protect his father, the rest of the town is trying to move forward and get back to some sense of normalcy.

However, things are far from normal in Riverdale. Betty (Lili Reinhart) is dealing with her own trauma after discovering some unsettling information about her family, and she must make a tough decision about how to handle it.

Meanwhile, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is adjusting to life at a new school and dealing with the aftermath of his break-up with Betty. He finds solace in a job at Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, where he spends late nights chatting with the owner, Pop Tate (Alvin Sanders), and the town's other night owls.

As the episode progresses, tensions rise in Riverdale and the characters must navigate both personal and external conflicts. Veronica (Camila Mendes) finds herself in the crosshairs of her father's criminal dealings, while Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) continues to unravel after the loss of her beloved brother.

Throughout it all, the characters must balance their own desires and motivations with the needs of the town as a whole. As they work together to protect themselves and each other, they begin to realize that the darkness in Riverdale runs deeper than they ever imagined.
