Robson Green returns for season 2 of his hit show, Extreme Fishing Challenge, and in the first episode, he's headed to Tasmania in Australia. This beautiful island, located on the southern coast of the mainland, is known for its rugged terrain and unique wildlife. But for Robson, it's all about the fishing.

Robson starts his journey in the capital city of Hobart, where he meets up with local fishing expert, Joshua Brooks. Joshua is a fourth-generation fisherman and knows these waters better than anyone. Together, they head out to the River Derwent, which runs through the heart of Hobart. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, but Robson hasn't come all this way for the easy catch.

Instead, he's looking to catch the elusive bluefin tuna. These massive fish can grow up to 400 kilograms, making them one of the biggest challenges for any fisherman. To catch one, Robson needs to head out to the deeper waters outside of Hobart. Luckily, he's joined by one of the most experienced captains in Tasmania, Steve Compton.

Steve has been fishing these waters for over 35 years and knows just where to find the bluefin tuna. They head out on Steve's boat, the Seacraft, and it's not long before they get a bite. Robson is in for the fight of his life as he reels in one of these massive fish. It's an incredible accomplishment and a moment that will stay with him forever.

But the bluefin tuna isn't the only fish on Robson's bucket list. He's also looking to catch a few of the more unusual species that are found in these waters. One of these is the mako shark. These incredible creatures are some of the fastest swimmers in the ocean and can grow up to 4 meters in length. Robson is keen to test his skills against one of these predators.

With the help of Steve and his crew, Robson heads out in search of the mako shark. He uses a variety of bait, including mackerel and squid, and it's not long before he gets a bite. The mako puts up an incredible fight, but Robson manages to reel it in. It's an amazing moment, and Robson is thrilled to have caught such an impressive fish.

Throughout the episode, Robson also takes time to explore the natural beauty of Tasmania. He visits the stunning Cradle Mountain, where he takes in the views and goes for a hike. He also meets up with some local wildlife, including Tasmanian devils and wallabies.

Overall, this episode of Robson Green's Extreme Fishing Challenge is an incredible adventure. Robson faces some of the biggest challenges of his fishing career but comes out victorious. The stunning backdrop of Tasmania only adds to the excitement, making it a must-watch for any fishing fan.
