Rocket Monkeys is a Canadian animated TV series produced by Breakthrough Entertainment. The show revolves around two monkey brothers named Gus and Wally who work as debris removers in space, but always seem to get into trouble. Rocket Monkeys season 2 episode 3 is titled "Banana Ghosts/One and a Half Friends."

In the first segment, "Banana Ghosts," the Rocket Monkeys are given a mission to retrieve some rare space bananas for the Primus. However, the mission takes a spooky turn when the bananas turn out to be haunted by ghostly apparitions. The monkeys must figure out how to rid the bananas of their ghosts before it's too late.

The second segment, "One and a Half Friends," sees the Rocket Monkeys befriending a lonely alien who only has half of a body. The alien attaches itself to Gus, and the two become inseparable friends. However, Wally feels left out and decides to take drastic measures to get Gus's attention back.

As the episode begins, the Rocket Monkeys receive a new mission from the Primus – to retrieve some rare space bananas. Gus is excited about this mission because he loves bananas. He even brings a banana to the briefing. Wally, on the other hand, is less than enthusiastic. He's heard that space bananas are haunted and doesn't want anything to do with them. However, Gus quickly convinces Wally that they're just rumors and they head off on their mission.

When they arrive at the planet where the bananas are located, they find a jungle filled with banana trees. Gus is ecstatic and starts picking as many bananas as he can find. However, he soon notices that some of the bananas have strange markings on them. Suddenly, one of the bananas starts glowing and a ghostly apparition appears. Gus and Wally are terrified and try to run away, only to find more haunted bananas blocking their path.

The Rocket Monkeys quickly realize that they're dealing with banana ghosts – the spirits of monkeys who have died and are now haunting the bananas. They try to get rid of them by throwing the bananas into outer space, but that only causes more banana ghosts to appear. Desperate for a solution, they call on their friend and mentor, Spender, for help.

Spender suggests that they perform a exorcism ceremony to banish the banana ghosts. The Rocket Monkeys are skeptical, but they're willing to give it a try. They set up a makeshift altar and begin chanting. To their surprise, the bananas start shaking and the ghosts begin to disappear. The ceremony is a success, and the monkeys are able to retrieve the space bananas without any further incident.

In the second segment, the Rocket Monkeys encounter a lonely alien who only has half of a body. The alien attaches itself to Gus, and the two become fast friends. Gus loves having a new buddy to hang out with and show off to Wally. However, Wally feels left out and decides to build his own friend.

Using parts from the ship, Wally constructs a robot named Rusty and sets him loose to play with Gus and the alien. Rusty is immediately accepted into the group, but it's clear that he shares little in common with Gus and the alien. He's clumsy, loud, and has no sense of humor. The alien even becomes frightened of Rusty, and starts to cling to Gus even more.

As the day goes on, Wally tries to make Rusty more appealing, but it only drives the alien further away. Gus is torn between his two friendships, and he tries to come up with a way to bring everyone together. In the end, Gus realizes that all of his friends have their own unique qualities and he doesn't need to choose between them.

"Banana Ghosts/One and a Half Friends" is a fun and wacky episode of Rocket Monkeys that blends humor, adventure, and heart. It's a great showcase for the characters and their relationships, and will have viewers laughing and cheering all the way to the end.
