Nick Logan has disappeared, and Sh'lainn's Banshee premonitions warn her that he is in jeopardy. With Cracker's help, she tracks Logan to a secret Lycanthrope base where Nick is being held prisoner by Ruck who plans to use his now fully-grown lookalike son, Athos, to replace the Alliance agent permanently. However, the alien underground, known as the Conduit, has other plans for Athos.
