In season 5 episode 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked!, titled "Drag Queens of Comedy," we see the aftermath of the main challenge where the queens put their comedic skills to the test by performing stand-up routines. The episode starts with the queens returning to the Untucked Lounge after the runway, still buzzing from the excitement of the challenge. They all congratulate each other on their successful performances but tensions start to rise when Alaska talks about how great she was.
The other queens don't appreciate her arrogance and they start to call her out on it. There is a tense moment between Alaska and Jinkx but they eventually resolve their issues and move on. They all start to prepare for the runway and talk about their ideas and inspiration. Roxxxy Andrews talks about her struggles with her weight and how it's been a journey for her to feel comfortable in her skin.
As they get ready, RuPaul comes on the TV screen to announce that the winner of the main challenge and the bottom two queens will be lip-syncing for their life. This puts everyone on edge as they want to avoid being in the bottom two.
The runway starts and the queens showcase their best "black and white" looks. They all look stunning and the judges are impressed. However, the real drama starts when the winner and bottom two queens are announced. The winner is a surprise and the bottom queens are devastated. They prepare to lip-sync for their lives and the tension in the room is palpable.
As they lip-sync, the other queens watch on, hoping that their friend will stay in the competition. It's a close call but eventually, one queen sashays away while the other stays to fight another day.
Back in the Untucked Lounge, the queens reflect on the elimination and discuss their own strengths and weaknesses in the competition. Emotions are high and one queen breaks down in tears, feeling like she doesn't belong.
The episode ends with the remaining queens coming together to support each other and lift each other up. They all know that the competition is tough but they're determined to keep on fighting until the end.
