Safe Harbour is a gripping Australian drama series that explores the aftermath of a shocking incident on the high seas. The show follows the lives of five friends who charter a boat in Indonesia for a holiday adventure, only to encounter a group of asylum seekers in distress. The group in the boat faces a tough decision: do they help the refugees or remain indifferent to their plight?

In episode 2, tensions are high as the group tries to come to terms with what happened on the boat. Ryan (Ewen Leslie) is still struggling with guilt over his role in the tragedy and becomes increasingly defensive when his wife, Bree (Leeanna Walsman), tries to talk to him about it. Meanwhile, Olivia (Phoebe Tonkin) is haunted by the memory of the young girl who died in their care and is determined to find out what happened to her family.

The arrival of the refugees in Australia has sparked anger and resentment in some sectors of the community, and tensions continue to rise when the group hears rumours that one of the refugees was involved in a terrorist attack. Todd (Joel Jackson), the group's resident idealist, tries to convince everyone that their actions were morally justified, but he's met with hostility and suspicion.

As the investigation into the tragedy on the boat continues, the group becomes increasingly isolated, with each member dealing with their own emotional fallout. Meanwhile, tensions rise between the refugees and the authorities, and it becomes clear that their future in Australia is far from assured.

The episode does an excellent job of exploring the complex moral issues surrounding the refugees' plight and the group's decision to help them. It also shines a light on the way that traumatic events can impact people in different ways, with some becoming defensive and others more determined to seek the truth.

Overall, episode 2 of Safe Harbour is a tense and thought-provoking hour of television that leaves the viewer on the edge of their seat. With strong performances from the cast and an emotionally charged storyline, it's clear that this series is not to be missed.
