Ep 10. The Beacon

In season 1 episode 10 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, titled "The Beacon," Adora and the princesses must prevent Horde Prime from discovering Etheria and taking it over. They decide to activate the Heart of Etheria, a powerful weapon created by the First Ones that would destroy everything on the planet, including the Horde. However, there is a catch - the Heart of Etheria requires a signal to activate it, and that signal can only be sent from a beacon located in the Fright Zone.

Adora volunteers to sneak into the Fright Zone with Bow and Glimmer to activate the beacon, while the rest of the princesses work on defenses to hold back the incoming Horde army. Adora is hesitant and fearful of what she might become with the power of the Heart of Etheria, but Glimmer and Bow reassure her that they will be there to help her control it. Meanwhile, Catra and Scorpia are tasked with retrieving Entrapta, who is being held captive on a prison ship.

Adora and her team successfully activate the beacon, causing the Heart of Etheria to start charging up. However, Horde Prime's ships quickly arrive and begin attacking the princesses' defenses. They manage to hold off the initial wave, but Horde Prime soon unleashes a powerful weapon that destroys much of the princesses' forces.

In the Fright Zone, Catra and Scorpia locate Entrapta and free her, but not before she reveals that the Heart of Etheria will also destroy the planet's magic, which would have severe consequences for the princesses. Catra is torn between wanting to save Entrapta and fulfilling her loyalty to the Horde. In the end, she decides to stay and continue helping the princesses.

As the battle rages on, Adora is suddenly transported to a strange void-like space where she meets with Mara, a previous She-Ra. Mara warns Adora of the dangers of the Heart of Etheria and implores her to find another way to stop Horde Prime. Adora returns to the battle with newfound determination and a plan to destroy the Heart of Etheria.

Overall, "The Beacon" is an action-packed episode that further develops the characters' motivations and adds new layers to the conflict between the princesses and the Horde. It also raises the stakes for the rest of the season, as the looming threat of the Heart of Etheria now hangs over the characters' heads.
