Ep 7. Proof of Concept

Richard and the Pied Piper team are hard at work trying to perfect their compression algorithm in order to present it to investors. However, they run into a number of obstacles along the way.

For one, there is a lot of contention within the team as to what direction they should take the algorithm. Gilfoyle and Dinesh are both convinced that they have the better approach, and refuse to see eye-to-eye. This creates a lot of tension between the two, and threatens to derail the entire project.

Meanwhile, Monica attempts to help the team by setting them up with a prominent tech blogger who has a large following. However, when the blogger comes to visit, things do not go as planned. She proves to be extremely difficult to impress, and seems to be more interested in tearing the team down than helping them out.

At the same time, Richard is struggling to reconcile his own vision for the company with the needs of investors. He is passionate about building a product that truly stands out in the market, but worries that he will have to compromise his vision in order to secure funding.

Despite all of these setbacks, Richard remains determined to make Pied Piper succeed. He is convinced that their compression algorithm is the best in the market, and refuses to be deterred by anything standing in his way.

Ultimately, the team comes up with a proof of concept for their algorithm that they believe will blow investors away. They present it to a group of potential investors, but the outcome is far from certain. Will they be able to secure funding and keep the company alive? Or will Pied Piper go down in flames, just another forgotten startup in the tech world? Fans of the show will have to tune in to find out.
