Ep 1. The Lonely Road

Danni, played by Mignon Von, is dealing with the aftermath of her break up with Zac, which has left her feeling lost and alone. She's trying to avoid Zac's sister, Fatima, played by KJ Smith, who is still mad at Danni for breaking her brother's heart.

The episode shows the women trying to be there for each other amidst their own problems. Andi's best friend, Karen, is concerned about Andi's sudden decision to take a leave of absence from work. Sabrina is excited about her vacation with Calvin but is worried about Karen's relationship with Zac. Danni is feeling alienated from the group and is spending time with fellow bar worker Preston, played by Christopher Jefferson. The four women eventually come together for a night out and try to have some fun, but old feelings and confrontations arise.

Throughout the episode, there are hints of something dark looming in the future. Andi receives a mysterious phone call in the middle of the night, Danni expresses her grief and loneliness to a stranger, Karen finds out some information about Zac that could damage their relationship, and Sabrina gets some unexpected news.
