In the sixth episode of the first season of South Park: Randy, titled "Medicinal Fried Chicken," Randy Marsh becomes obsessed with buying medicinal marijuana to help alleviate his testicular cancer symptoms. However, when he discovers that the only way to get the marijuana is by being a provider for a dispensary, he decides to apply for a license.

Meanwhile, a fast-food chicken restaurant is forced to close down due to new laws prohibiting fast food in town. However, the restaurant owner finds a loophole in the law by selling medicinal fried chicken, and the chicken joint quickly becomes extremely popular, drawing in crowds from all over town.

As Randy becomes more involved in the world of medicinal marijuana, he realizes that it is not as simple as he had originally thought. He struggles to balance his responsibilities as a provider with his desire to use the marijuana for his own needs, leading to conflict and tension both in his family and in the wider community.

Things come to a head when the town realizes the true nature of the chicken joint's business, and the residents are forced to confront the ethical and moral implications of both medicinal marijuana and the fast food industry.

Throughout the episode, classic South Park humor and satire are on full display as the show tackles issues of addiction, capitalism, and the complicated relationship between medicine and recreation. Randy's journey in "Medicinal Fried Chicken" provides a unique and humorous perspective on these issues, while also highlighting the absurdities and contradictions inherent in both the marijuana and fast food industries.
