Stand My Heroes: Piece of Truth is a Japanese anime series that follows the story of a woman named Rei Izumi, who's life takes a dramatic turn when she's asked to join a government agency known as the Narcotics Control Department's Special Crime Investigation Unit. The show is set in modern-day Japan, where illegal drugs are a rampant problem that lead to various criminal activities, and the government has tasked this department to keep the citizens safe from those drug-related crimes.
