Watch State of the Union: Candy Crowley

Add to Watchlist

State of the Union with Candy Crowley is a talk show that appears every Sunday on CNN at 9 am, Eastern Standard Time. It appears on CNN as well as CNN Internatonal. The show first appeared in January of 2009. It was initially hosted by John King. This show is supposed to provide the viewer with an analysis of the news and interact with political people, journalists and important people in the news. What was meant to make the show distinctive was the Magic Wall, an interactive touch wall that the host would use to cover stories. The show was four hours long at first. The show was supposed to be a merger of CNN shows called Reliable Sources and Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer.

In January of 2010, Candy Crowley replaced King as host of the show. The other change to the show was the fact that it would no longer be four hours long. It would only be one hour long.
