Strong Girl Bong-soon is a South Korean drama series that aired in 2017. The show follows the life of a young woman named Do Bong-soon, who possesses supernatural strength, which puts her in a unique position to protect those around her. The series stars Park Bo-young as Do Bong-soon, Park Hyung-sik as Ahn Min-hyuk, and Ji Soo as In Gook-du. Park Bo-young's character Do Bong-soon is a young woman with extraordinary strength, which she inherited from her mother. Despite her strength, Do Bong-soon lives a relatively normal life, working at a game company and having a crush on her childhood friend In Gook-du. However, her life takes a sudden turn when she is hired by Ahn Min-hyuk, the CEO of Ainsoft, who discovers her strength and hires her as his bodyguard.

Throughout the series, Do Bong-soon and Ahn Min-hyuk develop a unique relationship that involves plenty of banter and affection. Ahn Min-hyuk quickly falls in love with Do Bong-soon, and although he knows she has feelings for In Gook-du, he can't help but try to win her over.

In addition to the romantic plotlines, Strong Girl Bong-soon also features a number of comedic moments, thanks in large part to Do Bong-soon's superhuman strength. Her strength often lands her in amusing situations, such as accidentally breaking a video game controller or accidentally launching her friend In Gook-du into the air.

However, the show is not just all laughs and romance. There is a darker plotline that runs throughout the series, involving a serial kidnapper who is targeting women in Do Bong-soon's neighborhood. As Do Bong-soon works to protect those around her, she also finds herself drawn into the investigation of the kidnapper.

Throughout the series, the relationships between the characters develop and evolve. Do Bong-soon's friend In Gook-du, who is a police officer, develops feelings for her as well, leading to a bit of a love triangle. Meanwhile, the origin of Do Bong-soon's strength is revealed, which sheds light on her relationship with her mother and sister.

Strong Girl Bong-soon is an engaging, humorous, and action-packed series that manages to balance these different elements well. The show's titular character, Do Bong-soon, is an endearing and lovable protagonist who viewers will find themselves rooting for throughout the series.

The acting in Strong Girl Bong-soon is also well done. Park Bo-young does an excellent job portraying Do Bong-soon's strength and vulnerability, while Park Hyung-sik is charming as the playful and affectionate Ahn Min-hyuk. Ji Soo, although he doesn't have quite as much screen time as the other two leads, gives a solid performance as In Gook-du.

In terms of production quality, Strong Girl Bong-soon is well-made, with sleek cinematography and effective use of special effects to showcase Do Bong-soon's strength. The soundtrack is also catchy and memorable, with upbeat pop songs that match the show's light-hearted tone.

Overall, Strong Girl Bong-soon is an entertaining and enjoyable series that will appeal to a wide range of viewers. With its blend of romance, comedy, and action, the show manages to strike a balance that keeps it engaging, without ever feeling too heavy or too light. Fans of Korean dramas, in particular, should definitely check it out.
